This class is for beginner to intermediate guests. Most people have not painted before and are able to easily pick up the skill. I use a tried and true format providing a practice mat that includes elements or our motif to learn techniques before we paint our final piece. Any skill level can have a great time and put less or more effort into their creations, making it as fun and/or challenging for your guests.

The Class is 2-1/2 hours long. Please allow another 15 min. for your guests to arrive. Instruction starts at the beginning of the time allotment agreed on. There are wonderful boutiques to browse before and after the event. The Painted Tree* hours are 10am-8pm everyday. See the Calendar for available dates (the schedule offers a 3 hour window, but the class starts at your beginning time and ends 2-1/2 hours later).

Everyone will Paint the same Motif selected by the host. You can do that in the drop down menu. You can also Make a Note if you find a “Take+Paint” you would like to create that is not in the drop down. If you are interested in creating 5×7 Greeting Cards please make a note of that and I will email you regarding your request.

-My classes are designed for adults (I will accept age 8+, with an adult also taking the class) please make a note if you have any children under 16+ in your group. This Registration is not available for a children’s class. If you have an inquiry for an all children’s class, please reach out via email, thank you for your understanding.

This class is non refundable. I will work with you as best I can if issues arise, please be aware there may be fees involved with changes to the class after booking is complete and date/ motif is set.

Class Details

Each class runs for 2 ½ hours, with an extra 15 minutes for guests to arrive and settle in. Instruction begins promptly at the agreed start time. (The calendar shows a 3-hour window, but the class itself is 2 ½ hours.) Guests are welcome to browse the Boutiques before or after our class.
The date choices are subjected to the store hours (10am-8pm)
Everyone will paint the same motif, chosen by the host. Most motifs are created on 5×7 paper, though some designs are only in 8×10. Select your motif from the drop-down menu.
If you’re interested in creating 5×7 greeting cards instead, simply make a note when booking and I’ll follow up with details by email

Setup & Requirements

- - Seating: Guests are seated around a large rectangular table with me instructing from one end. (I offer comfortable chairs)
  - Space: Our table is tucked into a semi-private area within Painted Tree, with all guests facing the easel and away from distractions.
  - Food & Drink: You’re welcome to bring light snacks and beverages. A small serving area is available.

    Notes & Policies
    - Age: Classes are designed for adults. Children ages 8+ may attend with an accompanying adult. Please note if anyone under 16 is in your group.
    - Children’s Classes: Not available through this registration. For kids-only classes, please email me directly.
    - Cancellations: Classes are non-refundable. I’ll do my best to accommodate changes to your class, but adjustments after booking may include a fee.
