Private | Simply Watercolor Class

No experience needed—just come ready to paint!

Class Details

• Each class runs for 2 ½ hours, with an extra 15 minutes for guests to arrive and settle in. Instruction begins promptly at the agreed start time. (The calendar shows a 3-hour window, but the class itself is 2 ½ hours.)
• Everyone will paint the same motif, chosen by the host. Most motifs are created on 5×7 paper, though some designs are only in 8×10. Select your motif from the drop-down menu.
• If you’re interested in creating 5×7 greeting cards instead, simply make a note when booking and I’ll follow up with details by email.

Setup & Requirements

• Table Space: Provide each guest with room for a standard rectangular placemat.

• Seating: Arrange tables so all guests can see the easel. A long table works best with me at the end, or a large round table with everyone facing one direction. Avoid seating where guests have their backs to me.

• Lighting: Good lighting is important. I bring small LED lamps to supplement table light if needed.

• Tables: Choose sturdy tables to ensure a stable painting surface.

• Materials: I provide clipboards for the 5×7 paper and keep paints within easy reach. A separate water cup is not needed—we use water brushes that hold the water inside.

• Surfaces: Watercolor usually washes out easily, but keep this in mind if you plan to use a tablecloth.

  Notes & Policies

  • Age: Classes are designed for adults. Children ages 8+ may attend with an accompanying adult. Please note if anyone under 16 is in your group.

  • Children’s Classes: Not available through this registration. For kids-only classes, please email me directly.

  • Cancellations: Classes are non-refundable. I’ll do my best to accommodate changes to your class, but adjustments after booking may include a fee.
